-Logic Chess is a new sport to Port Shepstone High school but there have been numerous tournaments and we already have a few chess grandmasters in the making.
Chess started this year and it takes place in Mrs Schiltz’s classroom during second break every Monday to Thursday. On the 8th of September there was a chess tournament held at Suid Natal Hoerskool and it started at 9 o’clock. There were two age groups: the under 20’s (ages 15-19) and under 15’s (ages 14 and under). Each player had to compete in five rounds and the player with the most wins won.
