- MES The annual art camp to T O Strand is a wonderful opportunity for our art students to explore their visual creativity in a relaxed and pristine environment. This year saw an enthusiastic group of pupils under the guidance of Mrs Rautenbach, Ms Mthetwa and Mr Langa head off for a weekend of art, art and more art (with lots of relaxation in-between).

- Storm On the 25th of February 2017, there was a school’s open day at Port Shepstone High School. The purpose of this open day was for parents, grade 7 learners and other learners who want to join Port Shepstone High School in 2018 to have an opportunity to see what the school has to offer. - Yulisha Mohanllal On 24th February 2017, six of Port Shepstone High`s Grade 11 learners accompanied by their geography teacher, Mrs Van Tonder, attended their first GIS Olympiad held in KZN.

-Tauriel and Zamarisationalism The story line of Habitus is based on alliance, world-ending and the future and brings a whole world of local talent including pupils and staff of Port Shepstone High School. Last week we had the opportunity to interview a few cast and crew members including the director of Habitus –a three-part mini-series filmed around the South Coast involving a twisting plot line.
to edit. -Storm The SCA Talent Show 2017 was a huge success. The talent show was held at Port Shepstone High School’s Old Hall at 14:30. As we all know talent shows always have a presenter but there were two presenters: Mr Langa who was dabbing with Goodman aka “G” and they sang ‘Van Damme’ with the crowd’s help. Alongside Mr Langa was Siphesihle Khowa aka ‘Bash’ who did a snake dance.
Before the talent show even began, rules were given to the learners. The talent show was all about having fun and the contestants expressing their talents. All thanks to the committee of 2017. P.S.H.S talent shows always have ‘chocolate winners’. The funny thing that occurred was that a lot of number 300’s were winning and the winners were girls and one boy. This year there were four winners in the Top 3. Two winners were tied in the third position. The winner got a prize of R400. Top 3: 3 –(Tie) Vuyokazi Mgingqizane and Sinothile Zikhali 2 – The Mafia Boys (Vukani GumedeL Lwando Mgungwana, Siyabulela Mjomi 1 – Thandanani Dlomo Thandanani won a chocolate last year and this year he was the one who took the first place. Congratulations to everyone who participated in the talent show and especially congratulations to the winner. -Ché Valentine's Day; a day where you are required to show your love and affection for your significant other through the exchange of gifts (specially chocolate - everyone loves chocolate) I'm sure you know this but have you ever wondered why we have a day for this when it should be a daily effort? Or why it's called Valentine's Day ? Or even why the day of this special event is in the middle of February? To answer these questions we have to go back in time... -Tauriel Over the years we have seen celebrities get together, break up and even get married at some point. This has been the buzz in Hollywood but did you know that celebrity athletes have also had lasting relationships with both partners taking up a sport.
-Tauriel This week we look at the theme of love and red and what better way to let the school ‘see red’ than writing about the Red Rebels (taken from the colour of their identity card) –Matric 2017.
SheHullk Shozi Port Shepstone High School's moto "Labora in Fide" meaning "Education for Life" was truly highlighted in the results of the matrics of Port Shepstone High School.
