SUNNY SATURDAY ENSURES GREAT WINS AGAINST KINGSWAY
28/05/2016 Week 8 The beautiful day started with the boys’ hockey 1st team winning their game 2-0 against Kingsway. Carrying on this winning streak the girls’ 1st team won 7-0, the 2nd team won 5-0, U16 drew after a tough 30 minutes and the U14 lost their first game at home 3-1. The U14 netball girls unfortunately lost 16-12 in what felt like the longest game of the season. The U15 lost 13-6, the U16 lost 34 points to 4 and the 1st team ‘Beasts’ won 22-12. Rugby proved to be victorious. The second game of the day saw the U14 side win by 24-12. The U15’s came back strong to claim a 32-17 win. Also keeping their winning streak, the U16 celebrated a 40-5 victory and the 1st Warriors completed a 29-8 victory with a beautiful try by Alu Mbewana and great game-play by Jason Olivier.

28 May 2016 - Saturday HOCKEY RUGBY NETBALL VOLLEYBALL 28 May 2016 - Saturday Volleyball League at Westville Boys' High School - Thando Dlamini & Sphokazi Cele SHEPPIE HIGH KEEPS HEADS HIGH 21/05/2016 Week 7 Despite last week’s defeat against Kloof, the rugby first team entered the encounter against Kokstad with their heads held high. Failing to score two more tries and a conversion to settle the score, Sheppie High’s first team ended the game 2812. However the U16 rugbyside was able to sustain possession and win by 1712. The girl’s 1st team hockey ended with a 11 draw and the U14 and U16 lost their games. WANDILE AND CAITLYN SPRINT TO VICTORY AT CROSS COUNTRY CLASH AT KEARSNEY COLLEGE 18/05/2016 Week 7 Kearsney College’s cross country trail proved difficult for the school’s runners with only two runners coming in the top three in their respective age groups. Wandile Ngcobo came 1st in the U17 boys’ race and Caitlyn came 1st in the U17 girls’ race. TOTI AT A GLANCE 17/05/201619/05/2016 Week 7 Port Shepstone High School’s ‘Beasts’ and’ Ballerinas’ played their fair share of hockey and netball this previous week against Amanzimtoti. The U14 hockey team lost 50 and the U16 won 21 in the final two minutes under harsh weather conditions. The 1st team girls demolished ‘Toti with penalty corners, scoring 5 goals to 1. The U14 Beasts, unfortunately, lost their game 188 and the U16 won 177. BOYS HOCKEY
19/05/2016 – 20/05/2016 Week 7 Sheppie was on the bad end of the stick this past week losing both games against ‘Toti and Crawford La Lucia. The U14 drew against ‘Toti and lost 70 against Crawford, U16 lost 10 against ‘Toti and 110 against Crawford. The 1st team lost 10 on both occasions. |
